Horrible place! I dropped my truck off there on Saturday for work to be done on Monday, mind you I looked around for who could get it done fastest as I had a appointment out of town. Didn't mind the $1000 bill for the work to be done if they could do it Monday which they agreed to. Multiple calls during the day on Monday to check on progress, each time they said it should be done by closing time today. At 5:30 I called to see if it was done- at this time Jim (what a joke of a manager) says that there was no guarantee the work would be done today and that the parts haven't even been delivered. Jim states that it may not get done until Thursday, when I became upset about the timing he says "well you can come get your truck and bring it someplace else but good luck with that" while laughing at me. Seriously! How rude can you be...but then he goes on to call me a liar about the time frame. I had a meeting on Tuesday out of town...would I really have been okay with a Thursday I think not! I had brought my vehicles here before for a full set of tires and general maintenance but I will never again set foot in this place.
Was traveling thru Manteo when my tire got punctured and I was in desperate need of repair. I ran into Tread Quarters after googling nearest tire repair. Website said they were open til 6pm. It was 4:45 and when I ran in the guy said they were closing and couldn't help me. I was very disappointed. But his unwillingness to do a 5 minute tire plug turned into him recommending me to All Car and Truck Auto Repair and Towing. They did flips over this horrible chain!!
Friendly and quick, however went for a tire patch after running over a nail in the middle of the tread. Claimed my car needed an alignment (it does) and that the tires are worn down to the belts (they are NOT, there is still tread, just uneven wear). Then claimed that they couldn't patch the tire because it was drove on while flat, which is very untrue. They tried calling my bluff to get tires and alignment out of me. Went to another shop and confirmed the tire was absolutely fine and was able to be patched.
Needed a valve late Saturday afternoon, they took me in right away, no questions asked. Tried not to charge us, so we just tipped. I had the same problem with another tire back home, and they charged me 38.00. Great to see honest people in this world. Great jobs Zach.
If I could id give 0 stars STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE LYING CROOKS they are nothing but a bunch of cheats if you need tires your good but if you go here for ANYTHING ELSE YOU WILL GET SCREWED!!! BELIEVE ME I KNOW !!
