I would give this place 5 stars if the bathroom floor had tiles in it and it had more accessibility. There are steps before the building entrance, the restroom is elevated and requires a step up, and there are only two seats. Someone with accessibility issues would have a hard time. Anyway, I needed a decent place to do laundry while vacationing. I was concerned the reviews didn't seem great but I found the place was pretty decent. The machines are newer, clean, and worked great. The coin machine took a variety of bills, even 20s so making change doesn't require having smaller bills. The place had air conditioning. It worked out well. I was in and out quickly.
Just added new machines
Two front loading machines stole our money. Transferred load to a third machine, top loading, which worked. Texted the posted number and the guy was yelling and rude and wouldn't believe it happened.
Lost $$ twice! First machine would not start and had to move clothes to another one but lost $$ in first one. Then 2nd machine hung up on rinse and left wet soapy to clothes to be pulled out which required another full cycle just to rinse them! Lady I. There said machine at end also had standing water.
Clean. Only few machines not working. 5 min from Nags Head.
