We need more stores like this! No junk! Real brands, personal service, and good prices. Great products too. I live a ways away, but will comeback - it's worth the drive.

Very helpful and engaging husband and wife team who took the time to explain everything I wanted to know. I'm sometimes a difficult customer because I typically have exactly in mind what I want, but I learned something new on my visit and very much appreciated the service.

Just wanted take a minute to give a big shout out and "Thank You" to Roanoke Island Running Company. My wife and I had planned to go to VA to get a good pair of running shoes and expert recommendations after some less than stellar experiences here on the beach. Well, we stumbled in this weekend during an errand run to Manteo... and we couldn't have been more impressed. I totally forgot the store was there (embarrassing). We were promptly greeted and treated immaculately by Shane. He even balanced another customer as well. In the first 10 seconds I knew we were going to be buying her shoes there. She got to try on many pairs and test them out.. and we never felt pressured to buy, etc. I'd highly recommend anyone... novice to expert runners to make them your first stop and top of mind for any of your needs for shoes, etc. Really great experience.
