Flying in the Texas was great.The people are the best. Would definitely do it again. Truly a wonderful experience.
Event Tips:
- as a professional photographer I wanted to bring my good camera. Don't. A small handheld will do fine as the front cabin can be a little snug but not uncomfortable. Negotiating a large camera with Lens would have been too much of a hassle and take away from the trip itself. (Larry explained this before the flight,and he was Spot On !)
Booking was a breeze, both Larry (pilot) and his wife were extremely friendly and answered any questions we had. The open cab WWII Bi-plane flight was a perfect thing to do on a bright sunny day, Larry was very informative about the various Clipper ships in the harbors to history of Bodie island lighthouse and local places to visit and grab a Great meal. Plenty to see and both seats in front of pilot offered a great view.
Fantastic time with my nephew in the helicopter. Steph and Larry were great throughout the entire process and trip. If you need legroom, you'll find it here. As a 6'6" guy, I fit comfortably in the back seat - felt like a nice ride in a Cadillac! I'll be back for the planes next!!
Amazing! My husband and son took a helicopter tour and still can't stop talking about it. Staff is so nice and explain everything. Pilot was very knowledgeable in pointing out landmarks. Definitely bucket list worthy!
