My family had a wonderful time at this show. All staff members and cast members were extremely polite and helpful before and after the performance. Staff even dried off everyone's seat after guiding them there.

Spend the extra money to get the behind the scenes tour before the show starts. It is well worth it.

First time to see this dramatized story of The Lost Colony. Acting was excellent, the many sets - yes plural even though it was outside - were ingenious, the narration and choir and music were moving and performed beautifully. Even the comic relief was well timed! Must see when in the Outer Banks area!

Loved it! What a beautiful outside theatre right on the water. Excellent production. Great performances all around! Only things that would have made it better is if they had folks of Native American decent playing the Native Americans. It would have felt a bit more authentic. Most of the Native Americans looked like white people dressed up like Native Americans with make up on. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves anyway. Got lost in the story which is a sign of great theatre!

Contrary to what has been posted in other reviews, the online tickets we purchased were fine, we were not overcharged and everything went smoothly.

This is a great outdoor drama, with a waterfront amphitheatre. The entire family, young and old will enjoy it. The production is quite well done and the performance completely draws you in. Our son especially enjoyed the sword fighting scenes.

There were a few technical issues during the show. These were overcome by the actors who spoke up where possible. Though it is admittedly disappointing when the leading female role's microphone doesn't function for the entire second act.

The show itself had it's highs and lows as all plays do. There will always be parts that captivate more than others but I cannot see cutting any of it. The only possibility for improvement would be to simplify some of the Old English used in some scenes to allow younger audience members to better understand the storyline.

Nice theater on the water. Play was good but cheesy in parts. Most of the actors are really good. There is this character, Tom, who is meant to be funny, but he gets really annoying. It’s like they’re putting him in as a filler because they don’t have enough material to last long enough.
